Director Performance, Culture, and Inclusion - People & CultureDirector Performance, Culture, and Inclusion - People & CultureAs the Director, Performance, Culture & Inclusion, you will lead processes that cultivate a high-performance culture, foster an engaged culture, and create a productive and inclusive work environment. You will lead the strategy and team responsible for the creation, delivery, and management of a broad array of talent programs to nurture our culture, retain and grow engaged colleagues and leaders. This role is pivotal in driving high performance through strategic initiatives, fostering an engaged and inclusive culture, and integrating global talent practices to accomplish our business goals. In this role, you will be hands-on in designing and delivering strategy, skilled in both envisioning the future and executing plans. This is how you will do it:Working with Executive Leadership, People & Culture (P&C), People Leaders, and Associates, you will create and deliver strategies in alignment with Zelis values, business and talent goals, and to advance the One Zelis work culture and experience.Provide both strategic leadership and administrative oversight for researching, developing, and maintaining a range of successful talent and culture practices supporting a Zelis culture that values and prioritizes inclusiveness, and drive fair and equitable treatment of others.Work in partnership with learning SMEs, create educational programs that build capabilities on topics such as accountability, coaching, inclusion, manager/leadership development, and encouraging individuals to live in alignment with our values and take responsibility for their actions.Drive Strategic PerformanceDevelop and ensure implementation of modern performance systems to monitor and enhance employee behavior and productivity.Analyze the impact of the system and improve process steps, measurement, and monitoring for total alignment and achievement of Zelis objectives.Ensure appropriate, simple communications and training for accountability to deadlines and improve the quality of conversations, planning, and feedback.Understand and Impact Associate EngagementDrive initiatives to nurture a unique and inclusive culture through values-based events and the Cheerz! recognition program.Monitor culture through Great Place to Work (GPTW) activities and the Enterprise Engagement survey.Ensure Executives and People Leaders understand how to leverage the power of feedback to celebrate cultural successes and drive strategies to improve where needed.Develop and implement strategies to enhance organizational behavior and team dynamics.Inclusion Strategy and PracticesContinue to create programs and approaches aimed at driving a better work experience for individuals of all identities and backgrounds.Drive initiatives that celebrate diverse perspectives and create a sense of inclusion & belonging for all associates.Work with partners on EEO data submission and follow through on appropriate planning, as required by law or otherwise.Lead BRG and Affinity Group strategies and support their work as they connect across Zelis globally.In this role, you will be a part of the People & Culture extended Leadership team (XLT) and the Talent Management Leadership team, lead a team of two Associates, and engage regularly with the India Talent team and leadership.To succeed, you must be able to:Understand how to analyze and optimize human dynamics within the organization.Utilize complex problem-solving skills to translate data and business needs into organizational solutions that enhance the associate experience and Zelis Value Proposition.Engage and lead cross-functional teams/individuals to drive change and impact, operating with simplicity, clarity, and transparency.Manage multiple projects and keep deliverables on track to meet strategic goals of the organization.Develop mutually beneficial relationships inside and outside of Zelis.Manage external vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets.Be a thought leader and champion for talent efforts externally.Inspire and lead a team.Clearly communicate at multiple levels across the organization.Understand the power of story and use data-based decision making.Serve as a key thought leader on the Talent Management leadership team and mentor across P&C.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in talent development, organizational development, or DEI.Master's degree in organizational development or Industrial-Organizational Psychology preferred.You will have experience as a People & Culture Business Partner, with Talent Management and Inclusion practices.Prior people and team leadership experience required.Proven track record in strategic planning, instructional design, facilitation, coaching, and delivering on curriculum strategy aligned to company strategy.Adept at enrolling others in a vision and engaging stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential issues and discrepancies and offer recommended resolutions.Experience successfully engaging small and large groups in immersive experiences.Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision.Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.Ability to work with minimal supervision or formal structure.Experience with managing data in MS Excel functions.Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.Preferred:History working in healthcare or similarly regulated environments.Travel expected up to 30% of the year.Location and Workplace Flexibility:We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
