Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.The work model for the role is remote. #LI-RemoteThis role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics division working remote. Ideally located near Dallas, TX, the Southwestern US, or near a major airport hub.You will be mainly accountable for:•Customer Interaction: Working directly with natural gas utility customers to identify and solve operational issues. Striving to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in all transactions and relationships.•Technical Support: Providing expert support. Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues involving both hardware and software. Conducting data analysis remotely to identify trends, optimize performance, and provide actionable insights.•Field Service and Maintenance: Performing hands-on field service tasks, overseeing installations, repairs, preventative and unplanned maintenance of ABB equipment.•Documentation and Communication: Addressing customer questions with detailed technical answers and documentation. Communicating complex technical information clearly to customers, tailoring presentations to their technical Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science discipline (OR a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years of engineering/field experience). Minimum of 2 years of field experience in a customer facing technical support role. Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% as required. Ability and willingness to possess and maintain valid passport and driver's license. Technical skills and expertise in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analytical gas analyzers. Hands-on experience with cleaning optics and troubleshooting electronics is highly desirable. Prior experience in the natural gas utility industry, with a focus on sustainability initiatives, technological innovations, and regulatory compliance, is highly desirable. Proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and adeptly convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
