What You'll Do: As a Fire Alarm Technician, you'll be at the heart of ensuring safety and compliance for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include: Servicing, programming, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, ranging from basic to complex. (Installation skills are a plus but not required.) Responding to emergency calls promptly, which may occasionally include nights, weekends, and on-call shifts. Coordinating with contractors, customers, building maintenance staff, and office personnel to complete daily tasks efficiently. Identifying code and non-compliance issues and offering accurate recommendations for system improvements. Committing to the successful troubleshooting and repair of assigned customer systems. Upholding high standards of work ethic and attention to detail. What You Bring to the Table: A valid Massachusetts Electrical License. A high school diploma (industry experience is preferred but not required). A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, fire alarm system theory, OSHA requirements, and industry standards for fire alarm systems installation. Familiarity with systems from manufacturers such as Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Fire-Lite, and more.
