If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team. KPMG is currently seeking an SQL Developer to join our Tax Ignition Team. Responsibilities: Design databases and schemas tailored to corporate needs and ensure they operate efficiently and securely Manage all database development phases and seek effective solutions for improving speed and performance Implement the overall design, monitoring and optimizing of company databases Plan the logical storage structure of the database and backup processes for servers and associated data Monitor and maintain system health and security and the performance of the database during data access operations Provide technical support and problem resolution Qualifications: Minimum five years of recent industry experience in database design and development with advanced proficiency in SQL along with performance tuning Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred Strong technical foundation in database configuration, installation and maintenance, as well as solid communication skills Prior experience in database, production and on-call environments while performing work with minimal to moderate supervision; able to apply and interpret business rules and concepts in daily work Demonstrated experience setting up and deploying CI/CD pipelines, code versioning using Azure DevOps is preferred Experience in Azure Data Engineering, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL would be added advantage KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
