The firm represents innovative startups, founders, and investors across industries such as technology, life sciences, AI, fintech, and consumer products.About the Role:The associate will work onsophisticated transactionsand provide strategic counseling throughout the lifecycle of emerging growth companies. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced attorneys across multiple offices while working closely with founders and investors from day one.Key Responsibilities:Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, venture financing, and M&A transaction documents.Advise startup clients on formation, governance, and fundraising strategies.Represent venture capital firms in investments and exits.Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and privacy matters.Manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:3+ yearsof experience in corporate law, venture capital, and/or M&A transactions.JD from an accredited law schoolwith admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred).Strong academic credentials and large law firm experience preferred.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.Enthusiasm for working with startups and venture-backed companies.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary ($165,000 - $180,000+ based on experience and location).Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.Professional development opportunities and mentorship.Hybrid and flexible work arrangements.This is an exciting opportunity for an associate looking to deepen their expertise in venture capital and emerging company transactions while working with a dynamic client base.#J-18808-Ljbffr
