They prioritize building and nurturing relationships, fostering productive collaborations with superiors and colleagues while maintaining professionalism and constructive engagement.Essential Job Functions:Ensure and monitor 24-hour coverage as required by state regulations, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff at all levels.Monitor and oversee the condition and safety of the building and grounds.Ensure that all families served receive comprehensive services such as assessment, counseling, advocacy, legal assistance, case management, support groups, childcare, basic needs (e.g., food and clothing), financial stability, housing assistance, mediation of disputes, and resolution of grievances.Make all hiring decisions in collaboration with the HR Team of Midway Living.Oversee all administrative paperwork and processes.Ensure projected revenue targets are met by maintaining full occupancy of shelter beds, promptly preparing vacated rooms for new families, and coordinating referrals of new families from the Department of Homeless Services.Promote adherence to the agency code of conduct and enforce relevant directives from City, State, and Federal authorities.Generate monthly reports on petty cash, purchases, inventory, and staffing documentation to ensure expenditures align with the annual budget.Available 24/7 to handle urgent client matters that shift supervisors are unable to resolve.Attend DHS meetings and handle all correspondence with DHS.Assume overall supervision of the program.Add supervisory notes to CARES and Midway Living portals.Perform other related tasks as requested.SUPERVISORY REPORTS:All Social Service and Operations StaffEducation & Experience:Master's degree in social work preferred.Requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience working with homeless services in a residential setting.Must have at least two years of supervisory experience.Qualifications & Preferred Skills:Requires exceptional interpersonal, clinical, administrative, and supervisory skills.Must demonstrate outstanding communication and listening abilities.Strong crisis intervention management skills are essential.The ability to manage multiple complex issues simultaneously and exercise sound judgment is crucial.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to adapt to new software applications.Seniority level:DirectorEmployment type:Full-timeJob function:Business Development and SalesIndustries:Individual and Family Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
