Managing Consultant, Health and Safety (Senior Level)Minimum Qualifications:BS / MS in Safety, Occupational Health, Chemistry, Engineering, or related science degree6+ years relevant experience with exposure to the technology, pharmaceutical / biotech, manufacturing, power, chemical, and oil and gas sectors preferredExperience managing direct reports and / or project staff, scoping and managing project budgets and expenses highly preferredValid Driver's LicenseAbility to travel within the SF Bay Area as well as some occasional travel outside of the local Bay AreaStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectivelyResponsibilities:Help develop and implement innovative H&S programs and strategies in the areas of Injury Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP), hazard communication / chemical management, occupational health programs, safety management systems, process safety and risk management, industrial hygiene assessments, and technical supportIdentify and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsAssist with collection, review, and analysis of field data to evaluate conditions, present information, and implement effective solutionsSupport our clients' desire to improve safety performance by providing training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessmentsParticipate as an enthusiastic team member on various project teams and effectively complete assignmentsSpend time onsite with clients throughout Silicon Valley and the Bay Area to help solve their most pressing H&S challengesDevelop an understanding of how your work affects our clients' business objectives and help them achieve these objectivesBuild client relationships and nurture repeat business by continuously striving to exceed their expectationsBegin to build a network within and outside of ERM that will enable you to leverage and develop your skills and help solve challenging multi-disciplinary client challengesBe an active team member on projectsEnsure quality standards on project deliverablesBuild strong collaborative relationships with our clients and other ERM employeesCompensation:For the Managing Consultant, Health & Safety position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $95,868 - $109,240. An employee's pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
