A leading, well-funded wealth management firm is looking for a Senior Tax Strategist to join their team. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a strategic, consultative environment, guiding clients through sophisticated tax strategies while overseeing a team of advisors and preparers. Remote work is an option for candidates inMST / PST with occasional travel. However, we are unable to employ candidates in California.Responsibilities:Oversee and review complex tax returns for HNW individuals, estates, trusts, and businessesDevelop and implement advanced tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positionsProvide strategic tax guidance in collaboration with financial advisors and estate planning professionalsResearch and analyze tax laws to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunitiesMentor and manage tax advisors, ensuring high-quality client serviceCommunicate directly with clients, providing clear, proactive tax adviceSupport business development efforts through tax-focused client solutionsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 8+ years of tax experience, with a strong focus on HNW clientsCPA required; Master's in Taxation or CFP preferredExtensive experience in tax review, planning, and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and familiesStrong knowledge of estate, gift, and trust tax strategiesAbility to manage multiple complex client relationships and lead a teamWillingness to travel occasionally if working remotely; must be in our time zoneThis is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role at a firm that values expertise, strategic thinking, and long-term client relationships.
