Position:Head of SalesSalary:$100,000 - $130,000 DOE + commission + bonus + potential equity stakeLocation:Hybrid work - Long Island, NYThis is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong sales leadership experience in a residential roofing setting to join a company at the start of their journey to create a multi-million dollar business. You must love the fast-paced startup world to be successful in this role. You will start from the ground up, with an initial investment, backed by an established and experienced team.Qualifications:Proven track record of building a roofing sales team from scratch. We do 70% residential sales and 30% commercial.Previous experience in commercial roofing and blue-collar services will be an added advantage.You are ambitious, ready to take the reins and grow the sales organization very quickly.Proven experience as a senior sales leader for a residential or commercial roofing contractor.Team Leadership:Leading and managing a team of sales representatives. This involves recruiting, training, motivating, and evaluating sales staff to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.You possess a high degree of financial acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Contract Negotiation:Negotiating contracts with clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company while meeting the needs of the client. This includes pricing, payment terms, and project timelines.Sales Reporting and Analysis:Tracking sales performance against targets and generating regular reports for management. Analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Product and Industry Knowledge:Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
