For more than 40 years, Reworld has been a leader in sustainable waste solutions, providing our customers with innovative solutions that help them achieve carbon-negative outcomes.About the roleSummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Commercial Finance Manager to lead key financial initiatives and provide critical insights into our commercial operations. This role is essential in managing actual performance, forecasting, and budgeting processes for commercial activities, monitoring and enhancing commercial KPIs, reporting processes (Budget, Forecast, Long Term planning, commercial dashboards, ...) and ensuring data accuracy. The role requires delivering impactful analysis to identify opportunities for achieving Reworld's targeted growth while mitigating risks through early identification. The ideal candidate will excel at partnering with cross-functional teams, driving pipeline analytics, supporting S&OP processes, and evaluating the performance and profitability of initiatives. This position will provide financial leadership to prepare executive level presentations related to financial performance, business and commercial expansion, M&A, special projects, and scenario planning including detailed modeling and projections.Key Responsibilities:Commercial Analysis and Reporting:Own and manage commercial KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Develop dashboards and tools to provide visibility into performance trends and how to break those down between pricing, volume and mix.Conduct detailed data analytics to identify risks and opportunities.Partner with Pricing team to address, monitor and drive price initiatives.Coordinate FP&A revenue activities to ensure planning timelines and processes are understood.Budgeting, Forecasting, and Actuals Management:Lead the preparation of commercial budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives, regions and product lines.Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data in all reporting and planning processes.Prepare Commercial/Revenue strategic Monthly Business Review with Management.Business Partnering:Provide support on all finance related aspects to the Growth and strategy team as well as support the Energy team on financials reporting.Work with cross-functional & cross-region teams to measure the performance and profitability of initiatives and to provide financial insights and optimize decision-making.Support S&OP processes with financial expertise.Risk and Opportunity Management:Quickly assess and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to ongoing initiatives and business performance.Strategic Decision Support:Assist in the creation and evaluation of business cases for new initiatives and investments.Provide scenario analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and forecasting.Provide strategic financial support in setting strategic objectives as well as in delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets regarding price implementation and business expansion including National and Regional Accounts as well as Brokerage.Process Improvement:Continuously enhance data accuracy, reporting processes, and analytical tools.Champion the use of technology and automation to improve efficiency and data insights.Education and Desired Experience:Bachelor's degree in finance, Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field, MBA, or CPA.15 Years or equivalent experience in Finance Commercial Finance, Regional Finance FP&A, Center of Expertise (COE), Finance Operations, Cash Flow, M&A, project modeling and scenario planning.Direct report to Regional CFOs in positions supporting a regional organization.Other Experiences: International Experience, turnarounds (Business units, product P&L, cashflow), resource allocation, cost reduction, project implementation, process improvement and standardization.Essential Skills and Competencies:Accountability, Collaboration, eager to learn, drive by results, manage ambiguity, self-management, self-motivated, critical thinking, and strong business acumen.Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills with ability to understand the impact of changes in business operations on financials and investigate corrective action.Ability to balance broad strategic objectives with the ability to execute day-to-day tactical operations.Strong change management skills, ability to lead through change.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to build a strong network across the organization.Ability to deal effectively with all levels of operating and financial management within a Fortune 500 corporate environment.Team oriented leader with the ability to develop talent in a high performance and dynamic organization.Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate those to management.Ability to work with a range of functionally diverse peoples, influencing them to get things done, and delivering value added business results that meet high quality requirements within deadlines.Strong knowledge on SFDC and Oracle knowledge (NetSuite and PeopleSoft a plus), Power BI, SmartView, Excel proficiency (advanced functions, macros).Programming skills in Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and automation.Our DEI Commitment:Reworld is an Equal Opportunity Employer, has developed an Affirmative Action Program (AAP), and will not discriminate against any qualified applicants because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability (including perceived disability, physical, mental, and/or intellectual disabilities), veteran status, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or any other characteristic protected by law.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
