Chief Financial OfficerAfter operating The Tradesmen Group LLC as one of America's most elite historic restoration contracting firms for over twenty-six years, founder and President, Melissa West, is seeking her replacement to assume her duties as CFO and help lead TTG into the next decade. The ideal candidate will possess experience in construction accounting with hands-on knowledge of daily construction operations to oversee the financial vitality of the company.Proud to be a100% Employee-Owned Company(ESOP),TTGspecializes in the rehabilitation and restoration of significant structures throughout the eastern half of the United States, with offices/yards serving Washington DC, Nashville TN and Savannah GA. As a full-servicebuilding rehabilitation/restoration company , TTG self-performs multiple trades including all aspects of historic masonry restoration, roofing, architectural metals, carpentry, painting & more.RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Strategy and PlanningDevelop and implement financial strategies to support growth objectives.Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.Identify cost-saving opportunities through data-driven analysis.Financial Reporting and AnalysisOversee the timely preparation of financial statements.Analyze monthly budget vs actual statements and provide actionable insights.Conduct financial analysis for proactive decision-making.Cash Flow ManagementImplement effective short- and long-term cash flow management strategies.Monitor cash flow projections and optimize working capital.Evaluate and manage risks related to cash flow and investments.Financial OperationsAdministrate all financial elements of a multi-unit enterprise.Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Ensure accurate job costing and cost estimates.Review and update costs with project managers.Manage and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processes, working closely with HR and finance.Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.Implement and maintain internal controls.Leadership and Team ManagementLead and mentor the finance team.Demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and depth of judgment and leadership.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Actively participate in discussion and work to find common ground and solutions when approached with diverse ideas and perspectives.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (master's degree preferred).Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) highly desirable.Proven experience as a CFO or in senior financial leadership.Strong knowledge of financial management principles, GAAP, and tax regulations.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience in the construction industry preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.If you have what it takes to someday lead TTG and are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for incredible career development and a life-changing opportunity for success and prosperity through the opportunities offered with TTG, please send your resume to .#J-18808-Ljbffr
