Even with more than 8,500 people, 130 U.S. locations, and a global reach, we promise to know you and help you.CLA is dedicated to building aculturethat invites different beliefs and perspectives to the table, so we can truly know and help our clients, communities, and each other.About the role:CLA is seeking aFinancial Systems Director.This role works directly with the Director of Financial Systems to support key Finance stakeholders and develop and deliver best-in-class finance systems solutions.As a Financial Systems Director you will be responsible for:Financial Systems Management:Oversee Workday Security, Business Processes, and Reporting. Provide technical and functional expertise in supporting Workday financial features, including accounts payable/receivable management, General Ledger Functions, budgeting forecasting, and reporting capabilities. Identify trends or root cause behaviors for issues and errors and manage potential solutions. Resolve escalated user issues and ensure delivery of high-quality customer service. Serve as a strong consultative partner to functional leaders, providing process and technology solutions to meet complex business needs. Actively contribute to delivering, maintaining, and improving Workday services, procedures, and processes. Lead and oversee the review, design, development, testing, training, and deployment of new functionality, including biannual releases. Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of dashboards and audits to ensure data integrity and improve firm performance through the enhanced use of Finance systems. Support the implementation of new systems and/or integrations as they relate to Workday.Supervisory:Direct team members to perform enthusiastically, innovatively, and diligently. Coordinate personnel schedules and team workload in alignment with CLA business demands. Coach, discipline, and train team members as may be required. Establish and maintain effective working relationships to promote the success of established short- and long-term objectives and goals.Project Management:Provide effective project management on select projects, leading customer-focused project teams to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget. Lead projects with communication, outcome, process, resource, schedule, and budget management.Administrative:Develop and maintain quality relationships with appropriate vendor technical resources. Direct and assist team with user requests for support and information. Calculate test cases based on enhancements to be implemented from vendor or internally generated changes.Training and Documentation Development:Collaborate with Finance Innovation team members to design and develop documentation and training content, where applicable, for all finance processes.What you will need:Bachelor's degree is required.
