The Associate Director, Investments (ADI) should have a background in the field of investments, be detail oriented, have a history of quantified achievements, and possess an intrinsic desire to succeed and grow within a high performing team. This candidate should be intelligent, confident, competitive, ambitious, and curious. The ADI works collaboratively with the Managing Director, Investments (MDI) and the Director, Investments (DI) to implement, monitor and maintain investment discipline for an open architecture, multi-asset class, fast growing investment business.At the direction of and under the supervision of the MDI and the DI, key job functions will include documentation of investment policy statements, frequent asset-allocation and risk modelling, investment research and due diligence as appropriate, ongoing performance monitoring, portfolio rebalancing, trading, compliance, and one-off projects as needed. This position will have some face-to-face interactions with UHNW clients, but the ADI is not responsible for direct relationship management.Essential Functions:A significant part of the job will involve investment focused activities including, but not limited to trading, investment research, performance reporting, portfolio modelling and rebalancing, investment documentation, and providing performance measurement.Must have exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office skills as well as be competent with technology.Must have a keen attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written word.Will proactively help investment team be responsible for compliance monitoring, track account openings and funding, completing subscription documents, and will produce timely client deliverables.Experience and Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years' experience in an investment role with a focus on UHNW clients, foundations, or endowments. Family Office experience a plus.Investment experience should include key aspects of the investment management process including objective setting, asset allocation and investment policy, manager/strategy search & selection, implementation, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation delivered within a team-based approach.A desire to develop stronger investment knowledge and meaningfully contribute to business success.Will have an "all hands-on deck" and a "can do" attitude.Bachelors' degree required: significant progress toward or attainment of CFA/MBA strongly preferred.Location:This position will be based in either Denver or Seattle and will be a hybrid role in the office 3 or more days a week.Benefits:Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
