Lourie Center - RiverdaleThe Lourie Center Head Start, Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Head Start Community Resource Development Coordinator, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.The Lourie Center Head Start (LCHS) program is a federally funded, community-based program for low-income families as well as pregnant women with children from birth to five years old. The program serves children with disabilities, children in foster care and families that are homeless.As a Head Start Community Resource Development Coordinator, you will:Track and report the program's annual non-federal match through the data management system.Facilitate and direct Head Start program service area leaders to strategize and organize outreach meetings, fundraising activities, and program events, to include use of volunteers.Seek, foster and develop new partnerships that establish and sustain services and resources to achieve program goals and objectives.Facilitate the development of formal partnerships and serve as the liaison between the Head Start program and community partners to strengthen the resources provided to program participants.Serve as an ambassador to represent the organization by participating in community meetings and events that build relationships to promote the mission.Collaborate with fund developer to strategize and implement a multi-channel donor outreach plan.Coordinate with AHC PR and Marketing to promote presence and visibility that ensures partnerships with vulnerable populations.Maintain verbal and written contact with volunteer organizations and donors to include acknowledgement letters.Support grant activities through research of grant opportunities; support with preparation of application information and documentation for submission and tracking of grant reporting dates and information.Qualifications include:High School diplomaSome college preferredA minimum of 3 years' of experience with community outreach and partnerships, event planning and coordination, Head Start fiscal activities and grant applications.Must have reliable transportation.Work Schedule:Day Shift, Occasional weekendsPay Range:$50,778.00 - $71,089.20In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
