This includes the daily management of the Office of Financial Management, the Office of Purchasing and Contracts, the Office of Operational Services, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.The Office of Financial Management is responsible for monitoring and controlling the agency's finances. This includes the development and management of annual expense and capital budgets, accounts payable, travel requests, and other payments. The division also includes the Assigned Counsel Plan (ACP) Payments Unit, which is responsible for processing payment vouchers for 18-b attorneys and experts.DOF, Financial Management division, is seeking a Director of Technology Solutions and Advancements who will report directly to the Assistant Commissioner of Financial Management. The candidate will help lead the division's implementation of technological insights and solutions by collaborating with internal and external partners.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including executives, department heads, IT, vendors, and data professionals.Lead development and implementation of division data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data quality and compliance.Drive division analytics initiatives and tools to facilitate data-informed decision-making across departments utilizing business intelligence tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.Lead the design, development, and support of meaningful reports and dashboards that provide actionable information to management and stakeholders.Help lead implementation of financial management enterprise solutions, ERP systems, and the like that support increased efficiency, transparency and data-driven decision making.Stay updated with emerging data analytics and office technology trends. Identify, evaluate, and recommend suitable tools and platforms that align with the division's data strategy and technology needs.Oversee collaboration with division managers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain standard operating procedures, business requirements, and system documentation.Serve as frontline office technical support to division managers and employees.Supervise staff and provide quality leadership, training, and coaching.Other projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:1. A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above; or2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in the areas described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.55-a Program:This position is also open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
