We work in a safe, positive, and engaging environment; and we believe our employees are the fuel that drives our business.ACI is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our growing team. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the workflow from the cutting of raw materials to pushing painted pieces to the Loading Dock. This requires keeping up with the Production Schedule to make sure all projects are completed by the Shop Due Date associated. This also includes monitoring/coaching the Lead-to-Front-Line employee professional relationships.Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:• Safety Responsibilities:o Enforce all PPE requirements.o Oversee the correct usage of all tools and material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, floor jacks)o Quickly recognize unsafe behavior and correct immediately.o Do daily walks through-out the shop looking for unique safety hazards.o Randomly monitor Toolbox talks of all Leads, and fill-in as needed.• Quality Responsibilities:o Spot check 2-3 pieces per area per day. This includes all areas of the Shop, not just Fit-Weld.o Hold Leads accountable for quality errors they are responsible for.o Focus and implement built-in quality in as many areas as possible. o Review all SOPs and monitor individuals to make sure they are following them o Stop production immediately, have on-the-floor meetings about any major quality issues.• Production Responsibilities:o Strive to complete all work by the Shop Due Date.o Manage Overtime, Review Production Paperwork, and Oversee Attendance Write-Upso Start time is at least 15 minutes before shift and End time is 15 minutes after shifto Must cover for any lead who is absent and must work his/her schedule.o Communicate between shifts on all schedules, equipment/material issues, and personnel.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
