Butcher Bar in Rittenhouse PHiladelphia is seaking a Chef de Cuisine The ideal candidate sould be positive, professional, and creative with natural leadership skills. The Position will have a big impact on upcoming seasonal dishes and menu changes. As a team leader, one must come to work every day energized and wanting to inspire, mentor and push their team to be organized, professional, and detail-oriented. This Position will have an opportunity to soon transition to an Executive Chef role. Skills/Requirements ï‚· Minimum 3 years of cooking in a professional, full service and high volume restaurant ï‚· Open availability including weekends and day shifts if needed. ï‚· A passion for purveyor/local farmer relationships ï‚· Advanced knife handling skills ï‚· Strong leadership skills ï‚· Must have a CURRENT ServSafe Certification ï‚· Love being creative and coming up with new menu items ï‚· Sound cooking skill and technique ï‚· Ability to confidently work all stations including expo ï‚· Butchering ï‚· Food cost optimization ï‚· Food safety knowledge ï‚· Staff education
