Hudson Veterinary Care was established in 2021 with the mission to provide the highest quality veterinary care possible. Hudson has 5 exam rooms with doctors who excel in their abilities to provide the best treatment options to prolong the quality of life for your pet. The Hudson team learns from each other and offers mentorship and strong leadership to all staff. We provide a wide range of services and have access to boarded internal medicine specialists, cardiologist, and surgeons for more challenging cases. Equipment includes ultrasounds, digital radiographs, in-house lab, and therapeutic laser treatment. Veterinary Assistant Hudson Veterinary Care in Hudson, NH WHAT YOU'LL DO * Provides compassionate care to patients and clients * Keeps accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy, including in-depth knowledge of medical terminology and record keeping * Prepares and maintains the exam rooms and treatment areas * Performs physical assessments and records observations, including triaging and problem solving to achieve the best possible outcomes * Safe, low stress and compassionate handling and restraint * Prepares estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients * Pharmacy skills, including protocols for filling in-house * Monitors vitals by hand and with equipment * Sample collection and processing for in-house and reference labs * Builds initial rapport and long-term relationships with both pets and clients, successfully communicates plans and estimates to owners * Communicates within the team, proactively advocating for their patient's needs BENEFITS We're passionate about helping you reach your greatest pet-ential - both at work and at home.
