Production Supervisor (Building Products) (Fabrication)

Production Supervisor Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Products,Plastics / Rubber Languages Required Pay Rate - 110,000 - 115,000 Job Duties: Will supervise the activities of @ 10 -12 production personnel engaged in all aspects of the manufacturing function. Specific responsibilities include communicating job expectations, planning and monitoring work, appraising job results and managing an assigned workforce. Key accountabilities include: • Meeting production schedules by establishing priorities • Allocating necessary staff and revising schedules as necessary. • Identify and implement quality and continuous initiatives. • Responsible for safety procedures necessary to maintain manufacturing operations and high quality standards. Establishes staffing plans and assigns labor hours as required. • Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. • Monitors production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. • Oversee plant and safety program. Ensure plant meets OSHA requirements. Will help to implement new ERP technology as well as update lean and Six Sigma methodologies
