Position Description: Performs duties to receive, stock, and manage inventory of spare parts for the maintenance department with safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees. Primary Responsibilities: * Performs Physical Inventory, cycle counts and audits of stock items * Receives UPS, FedEx and other deliveries * Distributes packages to appropriate departments * Receives stock and direct issue items within EAM (CMMS) * Communicate with and notify Planner/Scheduler of Planned Parts received * Prints barcode labels/tags for new inventory and stores items in the established inventory location * Creates part numbers and inventory locations for new items * Provides assistance to mechanics and operators in locating parts * Restocking of unused items * Maintains organization and cleanliness of the storeroom area, shelving, and cabinets * Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory/Management Responsibilities: Not Applicable Requirements: * Able to speak, read, and write English fluently * Excellent communication skills, written & oral * Able to lift up to 30-40 pounds, 10-15% of day * Able to operate a pallet jack and lift truck * Able to work flexible hours as needed (occasional weekend or 2nd shift) * Proficient with and strong aptitude for computers * Proficient with Microsoft Office programs * Knowledge of storekeeping practices a plus This is a union position and comes with benefits provided by the union, upon completion of the 90 day probationary period.
