You'll get to explore the various areas that our network offices are located in, as you make your way from one customer site to another. You'll be based out of the Osage Beach, MO office but will travel to our other locations as the work load determines. Travel is expected to be 75 - 85%. Requirements for this Field Service Technician job To be successful as a Field Service Technician at Wisper ISP, you'll need a combination of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You'll need a current valid driver's license and the ability to drive a vehicle safely. As the public face of our company, you must be able to communicate effectively with customers and various internal departments. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you troubleshoot issues and find solutions. Additionally, you'll need to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance, as this role requires a minimum 40-hour standard work week. It's important that you are legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for an employment visa status, both now and in the future. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: * Successful completion of industry certifications as needed * Current valid Driver's License * Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others * Ability to be added to Company auto insurance policy * Regular & predictable attendance required- 40 hour minimum standard work week * Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Previous Wireless internet experience or Telecom experience is preferred; but we have a great training program that will get you up to speed in a matter of weeks.
