Day to Day:One of Insight Globals clients is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team in Warren, MI. The person in this role would be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers. Additional Job Responsibilities: Overseeing 20-30 union employees. Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems. Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances. Required Skills & ExperienceMust Haves: High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in a production supervisor role Experience in a manufacturing/production/assembly environment Prior experience managing union employees Must have strong communication skills Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
