Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience in Field Services. The ideal candidate will work from our office during day shifts. The Infrastructure Engineer majorly will act as a local IT onsite and will provide end-user support along with the Smart Hands support to the infrastructure teams both onshore and offshore. The required personal has an active role within the team and interacts with colleagues to share know work on issues Responsibilities * Work with team members within IT Infrastructure IT Service Delivery and IT System Delivery * Provide support in Infrastructure incidents and changes and issues Topdesk * Deploy hardware and software servers network equipment cloud instances and services * Assist in maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure environment to ensure business continuity * Have a role in IT infrastructural projects Life Cycle Management Integration and Business projects * Set-up and maintain the IT Documentation & Monitoring * Build SOP Knowledge articles for known issue-resolution * User onboarding offboarding * Meeting room set up onsite for events * Work with local vendors * Provide comprehensive desktop support for remote and on-site users to ensure smooth IT operations. * Solve and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime. * Supervise the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop systems and applications. * Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure. * Conduct regular system updates and patches to ensure security and efficiency. * Lead user accounts permissions and access rights in various systems. * Offer technical support and mentorship to users addressing their IT-related concerns. * Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system configurations. * Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues. * Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures. * Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices. * Deliver training and support to users on new technologies and systems. * Participate in IT projects and initiatives to enhance overall IT infrastructure. Qualifications * Possess a proven technical background in desktop support both remote and field services. * Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle sophisticated issues. * Exhibit proficiency in installing configuring and maintaining desktop systems and applications. * Show experience in leading user accounts permissions and access rights. * Have a solid grasp of IT infrastructure and standard processes. * Display good communication skills particularly in English both written and spoken. * Be capable of working independently and as part of a team. * Demonstrate the ability to detail support activities and system configurations accurately. * Show a proactive approach to supervising system performance and addressing potential issues. * Have experience in defining and implementing IT policies and procedures. * Be committed to ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices. * Possess the ability to deliver training and support to users on new technologies and systems. * Be willing to participate in IT projects and initiatives to enhance overall IT infrastructure. Certifications Required * CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate The annual salary for this position is between $[60,500 - 70,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
