Summary/Objective: To administer excellent physical therapy to patients at our clinic and to observe and assist our Physical Therapist Assistant as needed and required.About us:We are a small Pediatric Clinic within a diverse multidisciplinary practice with ABA, Speech, AAC, OT, and PT services. Therapy services are provided in a fun and innovative clinic/outpatient setting. Collaboration with colleagues in various disciplines is encouraged and supported.Hourly Pay: $40-$55/hrBonus Pay: Hit your target hours each week and unlock a $100 bonus, adding up to an extra $4,500 per year! This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program Open to New Grads and Experienced Therapists Must be detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture Excellent communication skills across all levels Serve as a liaison with internal and external customers Collaborative, team-building personality style Comply with Federal and State physical therapy regulations Abilities: ADAPTABILITY - adjusting effectively to change by exploring new approaches and collaborating with others to make the change successful. APPLIED LEARNING - applying new job-related information in a timely manner. COLLABORATING - Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals, including Patients, their Family Members, and Physicians as well as peers. PLANNING & ORGANIZING - Establishing an action plan for self and others to complete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines, and leveraging resources. Proficient knowledge about basic communication sciences, infant and child development, development of auditory behaviors, disorders of hearing, and effects of hearing impairment on infants, children, adolescents, and young adults, and aural rehabilitation to make appropriate recommendations. Working with the Biling team and reporting inquiries on billing. Documentation - Complete patients notes, evaluate and reports progress of the patients and their plans. This role requires one to sit, stand, and walk for 8-9 hours per day. This would require the ability to lift (50+ lbs.), bend or stand as necessary, full range of motion, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
