Quality Technician

ITS is seeking a skilled Quality Technician in the Charlotte area. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that production meets quality standards by conducting inspections, verifying materials, and maintaining accurate documentation.Compensation:$20 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential.Schedule:Monday-Thursday, 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM (Four 10-hour shifts, with overtime as needed).Key Responsibilities:Perform product inspections at scheduled intervals to ensure compliance with quality standards.Confirm raw materials align with setup sheets before production.Conduct visual, quantitative, and functional testing following established guidelines and product standards.Perform quality checks on downstream equipment, including labelers, cappers, and heat sealers.Make informed decisions regarding product acceptance based on written procedures and quality criteria.Record all inspection and test results accurately in compliance with ISO standards.Hold and assess products based on test outcomes.Verify calibration status on all test equipment.Collaborate with various departments to uphold internal and external quality expectations.Ensure correct coder settings on production lines.Print necessary paperwork, labels, and other materials for production needs.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Quality control experience in a manufacturing setting.Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work independently and follow instructions.Ability to work safely with chemicals such as bleach and ammonia.Why Join Us?We offer a collaborative and safety-focused work environment where your contributions are valued.
