Job DetailsTax Director OpportunityBase Pay Range:$175,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yrSign-On Bonus:$8,000 - $15,000Location:Boston, MAWe are seeking an experienced Permanent Tax Director to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the strategic tax planning and compliance for our organization.The successful candidate will oversee all tax-related activities, including the preparation of partnership and corporation returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and developing effective tax strategies. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, a strong background in tax, and a passion for problem-solving, financial analysis, and strategic planning.Why Join Us?Extremely Competitive Benefits Package5-15% year over year raisesUnlimited PTOCompetitive Base Salary and annual performance-based bonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployer contribution to Life Insurance and 401(k) planGenerous Paid Time offCustomized learning and development opportunitiesHybrid, flex, and remote work opportunities availableAbility to work in a growing, dynamic, employee-centric firmResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including partnership and corporation returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.Provide support with various internal audits and special tax-related projects.Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings.Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues.Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Master's degree in Taxation preferred.Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.Strong proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Strong leadership and personnel management skills.If you are a seasoned tax professional with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, we would love to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
