Vice President of Tax

Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Vice President of Tax to join their Real Estate group in their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesManage the tax functions of commercial mortgage loan platforms for funds and accountsEvaluate and document the tax implications of debt refinancing and restructuringAssess tax matters on the establishment of funds, feeder entities, holding companies, etc.Work with Acquisitions to advise on the best company structures to maximize tax efficienciesPerform tax modeling for new/existing funds, acquisition/dispositions, and internal financingsEnsure accurate filing of federal/state tax filing for all vehicles and K-1 reporting to investorsUphold compliance with REIT-specific tax requirements, including REIT income and asset testsPrepare quarterly investor income tax forecasts, estimated income tax payments, etc.Research, analyze, document, and support tax positions for audit requirementsOversee and review the quarterly tax provision prepared by the external advisorsRequirementsBachelor's degree, MBA preferred6+ years of tax experienceReal assets tax background requiredReal estate private equity experienceStrong partnership tax and REIT knowledgeAnalytical with keen attention to detailAdvanced Excel skillsCPA strongly preferredJob ID #66641Tagged as:In-Office#J-18808-Ljbffr
