Thriving Community - From farmers markets to live music and art walks, Bellingham is full of culture, creativity, and connection.If we sound like a good fit for you, reach out to Tracy at 602-313-7700 or Why join us?$4/evening shift differentialFull-time/permanent: 12-hour shiftsFull benefits that start immediatelyPaid time off with no waiting periodTuition assistance, education reimbursement, and fellowship programsRelocation assistance!Sign-on bonus!Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.Ensure all surgical instruments are sterile and functioning properly before procedures.Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating needs.Adhere to strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile field.Monitor and account for surgical instruments and supplies throughout the procedure.Assist in patient positioning and draping under the supervision of the surgical team.Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Handle specimens for laboratory analysis and ensure proper labeling.Perform post-operative tasks, including cleaning and restocking the operating room for the next procedure.Qualifications:Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT is required.Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.Minimum of 1 year of experienceStrong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and aseptic techniques.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.Interested in hearing more?
