This exciting role involves managing our division's client portfolio, overseeing the client onboarding process, and developing and managing the division budget. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the assignment of client services to staff and will monitor the status of work deliverables. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a vibrant and growing company while advancing their career in the finance industry.Responsibilities:Manage the client onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition and excellent customer experienceOversee the division's overall client portfolio, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfactionDevelop and manage the division budget, anticipating and communicating budget issues as they ariseIdentify opportunities to improve engagement profitability and assist with billingsAssign client services to staff and monitor the status of work deliverables (WIP tracking)Review staff deliverables for accuracy and completenessFollow up on all referred opportunities and meet with prospective clients to develop estimates for potential accounting and consulting servicesParticipate in hiring processes for division staffSupervise staff, including coaching, advising, and supporting team members in meeting client and professional development expectationsConduct periodic discussions with all staff and manage their professional developmentParticipate in firm marketing efforts at levels in line with the positionDevelop and maintain technical knowledge of GAA and tax regulations as they pertain to accounting servicesMaster the functionality and compliance of accounting software utilized by clientsShare and transfer knowledge with team members and develop a network of resources within the firm to facilitate the sharing of informationAttend continuing professional education to further develop knowledge and skillsQualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the finance industryProven ability to manage client portfolios and develop budgetsStrong understanding of GAA and tax regulations as they pertain to accounting servicesProficiency in accounting softwareExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailProven ability to coach and support team membersDemonstrated commitment to professional developmentBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is requiredCPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferredInterested in hearing more?
