PurposeThe Landscape Foreman plays a vital role in overseeing a team of laborers to ensure the successful maintenance and enhancement of community landscapes. This position focuses on four key areas: common grounds maintenance, new resident installations, team leadership, and customer/member interaction.Duties & Key ResponsibilitiesCommon Grounds MaintenanceCollaborate with the Landscape Superintendent to develop and implement routine maintenance plans for common areas.Ensure the highest standards in mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilization, and overall landscape aesthetics.Oversee quality control measures to maintain and enhance the visual appeal of all landscaped areas.New Resident InstallationsWork closely with the Superintendent to coordinate the design and installation of personalized landscapes for new residents.Supervise laborers in the efficient execution of plantings, hardscaping, and irrigation system installations.Maintain the integrity and quality of plants and materials prior to installation.Ensure landscape designs align with resident preferences and are implemented successfully.Team LeadershipLead and supervise the landscaping team, providing clear guidance, support, and effective communication.Assist in scheduling and assigning work to ensure timely and efficient project completion.Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular training to uphold workplace safety standardsCustomer & Member InteractionServe as the primary point of contact for residents and community members regarding landscaping concerns, requests, and inquiries.Provide professional and courteous customer service, ensuring resident satisfaction with landscaping projects and maintenance.Address and resolve member concerns promptly while maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach.Communicate upcoming landscaping work, potential disruptions, or improvements to residents to ensure transparency and engagement.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in landscape maintenance and installation.Previous supervisory experience preferred.Valid driver's license.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscaping techniques.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to design and implement landscaping plans based on resident preferences.Excellent communication and customer service skills for effective interaction with residents, members, and team members.Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and provide timely resolutions.Budget management skills with a focus on cost-effective solutions.Physical RequirementsMust be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time.
