Levitate Backyard - Food Runner

Direct Manager: General Manager, Assistant General ManagerCompensation: $15 - $22+ (including tips)Position Description:Food Runners in the backyard play a key role in the customer journey as you hand over customer's food on an enamel platter, ensuring orders are accurately dished out and that customers have a great experience at a key touch point in the custom journey. Positive customer experiences are the name of the game, and it's your job to keep things upbeat when all goes right and if any issues arise, answering questions about the food and providing solutions for customer complaints. RESPONSIBILITIESProvides excellent customer service to all customers you interact withHave an excellent understanding of the menu, recipes and ingredients.Ability to expedite and finish appetizer style menu items as well as visually inspect all outgoing items to ensure they meet quality standardsComplete daily shift work checklist and ensure all job tasks are done satisfactorily. EnsureComplete weekly cleaning project work, as needed and directed.Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment. Answer any and all questions that come your wayMust wear closed toed and non-slip shoes, pull back all loose hair, and be trained in the basics of food safety.Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, communicate with MOD, follow directions, show up on time and be a team player. REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICSAn understanding, belief in, and participation in Levitate's mission - building community through the arts, youth and conservation."Can Do": having an optimistic and "can do" approach to problem solving and challenges.Proactive Conversationalist: actively interested in engaging all people in conversations.Interest In People: must care about the wellbeing and happiness of other people: customers, coworkers, business partners, and friends in all ways.Work Ethic: must be a self starter and a believer of New England's value of old fashioned hard work. Desire To Learn: inquisitive and always willing to question what you think you think you know.Desire To Teach: always willing to share your perspectives and knowledge in pursuit of a more whole community.Take Your Shirt off Your Back For Others: always willing to sacrifice for the betterment of your team and for the vision and mission of Levitate.Self Confidence and Self Awareness: must have a balance of confidence and awareness in yourself and others.Powered by JazzHR
