Working in a variety of settings, candidate shall be responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, inspections, testing products, recording and analyzing results as it relates to the Camden Operations and Maintenance facility. Reporting to the QA Manager, quality inspectors shall follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards as well as monitoring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output. Quality inspectors must be meticulous in their work, skilled in quality processes and knowledgeable about measurement and test equipment (MT&E). Key Responsibilities and Challenges: * Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies and completed work according to well defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical and or electrical measurements. Conduct and document process and system inspections using Work Orders, written procedures and instructions. Interact with three shifts. * Guide technicians in QA/QC standards. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective actions. Work with management and QA to provide feedback to technicians regarding accuracy of maintenance procedures. Perform review of history records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and good documentation practices. * Communicate safety awareness. Ensure technicians are within compliance of proper PPE and workmanship standards. Develop safe working objective standards to assist technicians with daily O&M job activities. * Support the serviceability/reliability of the system and making recommendations for hardware/procedural changes that become evident during analysis of performance data and reports. * Support QA Manager on reviewing and editing maintenance procedures/manuals, work instructions, and process specifications. Preferred -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, 3+ Years experience in heavy maintenance industry maintenance Associates degree and/or relevant experience will be considered. Documented history of related experience. For safety reasons must be able to communicate effectively in English. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
