The Flow Cytometry Technologist is responsible for performing analytical cytometry examinations, quality control, instrument maintenance, testing validations, and other functions, while implementing the hospital and laboratory missions, goals and objectives. ANOTHER NAME FOR THIS PROFESSION IS FLUORESCENCE-ACTIVATED CELL SORTING (FACS). A cytotechnologist without the ASCP (SCYM) will not be considered for this need.
