Job Title: Area Operations Manager Job Specialty: Radiology Operations Job Duration: Not specified Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of two years in the mobile field and two years in a supervisory capacity License: Must maintain valid State licenses and possess a valid driver's license in good standing Certifications: Must have and maintain State Rad Tech/CRT and ARRT, ARDMS/CCI certifications Must-Have: Willingness to travel up to 50% within the service area; Vaccination against COVID-19 or documented exemption Job Description: - Responsible for planning and implementing schedules and staffing within the designated region. - Monitor performance and forecast service needs for personnel management, capital equipment justification, and departmental PL management. - Ensure compliance with State Regulations and Laws and follow applicable Radiation and Health Department rules. - Supervise all staff within the designated region and oversee patient care, patient flow, and quality. - Maintain communication between management and technologists to ensure quality studies under radiologist direction. - Conduct staff evaluations on a 90-day and annual basis, assess employee needs, and make recommendations to management. - Oversee image quality reviews and order supplies, equipment, and repairs within the region. - Maintain inventory of equipment assigned to the region and orient new employees to company policies and procedures. - Assist technologists in solving technical problems and provide ongoing coaching and counseling. - Review technologist payroll to ensure productivity and resource control using company metrics. - Communicate regularly with dispatch to maintain consistent patient care and turnaround times. - Plan and implement strategies that align with company goals. - Perform X-rays/Ultrasounds as necessary to maintain service levels. - Schedule and manage vehicle/equipment maintenance to ensure reliability. - Monitor dosimetry reports and oversee technologist clinical credentialing, training, and quality of service. - Adhere to health and safety policy, and report and document accidents or incidents immediately.
