S&P Global Market Intelligence Inc. Lead Software Engineer Location: 55 Water Street, New York, NY 10041 (Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.) S&P Global Market Intelligence Inc. seeks a Lead Software Engineer who will: Allocate development tasks among developers and report project status to higher management. Architect solutions for innovative requirements and coordinate implementation across the teams. Ensure quality of code for all deliverables across the team and devise plans to fix/optimize areas of concern. Deliver across the entire application life cycle: concept, design, build, test, optimize, deploy, release to app stores, and support. Work directly with developers, business analysts, and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize products. Create and maintain a robust framework to support mobile applications. Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies. Maintain and correct existing mobile application software and repair issues reported by clients. Collaborate with product owners and scrum teams to analyze user requirements and map them to corresponding technical components. Align with peers in the development team to design new features within the cost and timelines defined by the product owner. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Work with system analysts and quality engineers to obtain information on various components of mobile application performance and collaborate with programmers to improve application performance. Determine system performance standards. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related IT field plus four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. Four (4) years of experience must include: iOS mobile application development, including Swift and Objective-C; Xcode and its suite of tools; Frameworks including UIKit, and Foundation; additional knowledge of SwiftUI and Combine. Third-party libraries including Charts, Alamofire, and Realm. Using Git for version control. Developing and maintaining complex mobile applications with a focus on performance, usability, and best practices in mobile architecture. RESTful APIs, JSON, and handling network operations efficiently. Unit testing, UI testing, and test-driven development using XCTest and debugging techniques. Full app lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment. Mobile security best practices, responsive and adaptive UI design, Auto Layout, and programmatic UI development. Integrating analytics and monitoring tools, managing push notifications via APNs, and localizing applications for different languages and regions. Using Kotlin, Android Studio, Visual Studio, and React Native to ensure a comprehensive understanding of cross-platform mobile development and the ability to work on hybrid applications. SALARY RANGE: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $151,819 to $170,400. Final base salary will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
