Job Title: Facilities Operations Coordinator Duration: 3+ months Location: Queens, NY Pay rate: $24/hr We are looking for a Facilities Operations Coordinator to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. Job Responsibilities: Sit in the Queens office/warehouse and oversee daily operations. Escort vendors for maintenance and service tasks as needed. Create and manage purchase orders. Track spending against budget sheets to ensure financial accuracy. Perform regular site walks to inspect facilities and identify any issues or repair needs. Report any maintenance concerns or required repairs promptly. Enter and manage badge/access data for staff and vendors. Work in often quiet buildings, maintaining a consistent and efficient workflow. Requirements: Education: BA or Associate degree preferred. Experience: Finance background preferred but not required. Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new applications. Certifications: OSHA certification is a plus. Key Skills: Must-Have: Excellent interpersonal skills; a "people pleaser" with a customer-oriented approach. Self-motivated and driven to grow in the role. Nice-to-Have: Familiarity or experience with trade environments or construction. Background in finance or budget management.
