We want you to bring your entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter attitude to enhance our already incredible team!Why join us?High employer contribution to medical/dental/visionAutonomySeat at the table with senior leadershipLeadership who values each employee and rewards based on high performanceJob DetailsPrimary ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the drawing library for standard home plans, including electrical layouts and option sheets.Prepare, update, and organize construction documents using company-provided software for new single-family homes.Coordinate plans and specifications with sales teams, subcontractors, site supervisors, and office staff.Review and update plans from external architects to ensure they align with company standards.Prepare plans for survey approval and truss bids, ensuring proper communication with relevant parties.Distribute plans to subcontractors as needed.Maintain and update project information within BuilderTREND, including job creation, plan management, and subcontractor verification.Compile and submit plans and specifications for building permit applications to local authorities.Work closely with site supervisors and subcontractors to address necessary plan modifications.Handle orders for trusses, lumber, windows, and exterior doors.Coordinate gas and electrical utility orders.Distribute final plans and specifications to the office and field teams.Generate PDFs of elevations and floor plans for marketing materials.Convert AutoCAD plans into Revit.General ResponsibilitiesStay up to date on industry trends and best practices, implementing new methods as needed.Adhere to company policies, including safety guidelines and professional standards.Maintain brand consistency when communicating with external parties, including clients, government agencies, and vendors.Foster positive working relationships across departments and with external partners.Perform additional tasks as assigned.Job Requirements2+ years of experience drafting single-family home plansValid driver's licenseProficiency in Microsoft Office, BuilderTREND, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe AcrobatStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projectsSelf-motivated and team-oriented approachProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailProfessional communication skills, both written and verbalInterested in hearing more?
