Chemring Energetic Devices (CED) is expanding rapidly to meet the increasing demand for mission-critical energetic devices in the space and defense industries. We're looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Downers Grove, IL. This role is essential to ensuring smooth logistics operations while maintaining compliance with strict industry regulations. What You'll Do: ?? Receive and log shipments into our materials management system ?? Oversee shipping logistics for finished goods, hazardous materials, and explosives ?? Maintain accurate shipping documentation (bills of lading, manifests, SDS, etc.) ?? Operate forklifts for material movement and storage ?? Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards ?? Support warehouse process improvements and material control Requirements Qualifications: U.S. Person per ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, or Protected Person) Ability to pass an ATF background check (Safe Explosives Act compliance) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an environment with hazardous materials Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) Willingness to obtain a CDL within 2 years of employment Why Join Us?
