Green City Force seeks a dedicated Recruitment Manager to oversee the full recruitment cycle for its award-winning Service Corps. This impactful role involves building relationships with young people from low-income housing communities, building a strong and qualified applicant pool, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new Corps Members. They manage a dedicated outreach team and are responsible for managing a robust applicant pipeline. Primary Responsibilities and Expectations Recruitment Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified applicants to meet cohort recruitment targets. Support the selection and placement of applicants into GCF's AmeriCorps program. Train and oversee the successful planning, facilitation, and improvement of GCF Information Sessions and Tryouts. Develop and maintain tracking systems related to recruitment and enrollment. Manage the applicant interview process, ensuring a positive and informative experience for applicants. Manage coordination with Support Services team, working together to support the psycho-social assessment and related communication with applicants. Supervision Supervise a dedicated team of Recruitment and Outreach professionals, maintaining a collaborative team environment, with clear communication around priorities and team deployment. Provide ongoing professional development and coaching to support strong team performance. Oversee relationship maintenance and cultivation of key GCF recruitment and outreach partners. Manage relationship with NYCHA REES, meeting with primary contact to discuss program progress, updates, and any additional strategies to increase GCF's reach within the NYCHA community. Develop outreach strategies to reach more NYCHA residents, leveraging relationships with NYCHA and other program stakeholders. Maintain an updated calendar of key partner meetings and events that accurately tracks team coverage of recruitment activities. Support the development and implementation of resident communications tools and strategies including social media posts, newsletters, and text/email campaigns. Onboarding Partner with the Manager of Service Compliance and Administration to collect applicant information and documentation as part of the onboarding process. Facilitate the referrals of all accepted applicants to the Manager of Service Compliance and Administration for enrollment in AmeriCorps and e-grants. QUALIFICATIONS Passion for working with young people and supporting GCF's mission. 2-3 years of experience working for an AmeriCorps or other National Service program, preferably in a recruitment capacity. Ability to work at multiple locations across New York City. Valid NYS Drivers' License, for at least 6 months. Compelling internal and external communication, with ability to effectively market GCF's AmeriCorps program. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines, work collaboratively with other departments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and turn around assignments quickly without compromising quality. Experience with creating project plans, setting goals and deadlines, and keeping a team on schedule to meet deadlines. Ability to cultivate and leverage strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
