The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical components, equipment, and systems. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the energy, oil, and gas sectors who is seeking a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to showcase their skills and propel our company to greater heights.Responsibilities:1. Leading and managing a team of mechanical engineers and technicians in the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment.2. Overseeing the production and installation of mechanical components and systems, ensuring all procedures and safety standards are adhered to.3. Developing detailed designs of mechanical components and systems using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.4. Conducting research and analysis to optimize the performance, efficiency, and safety of mechanical systems and equipment.5. Collaborating with other engineers and professionals in the planning and execution of large-scale construction projects.6. Reviewing and approving technical documents, including equipment specifications, PFDs, and P&IDs.7. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues and failures, implementing corrective and preventive measures to enhance system reliability and longevity.8. Participating in project meetings and providing expert advice and recommendations on mechanical engineering matters.9. Staying abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering and construction technologies, adopting new techniques and practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications:1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications will be an added advantage.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry, with a strong focus on the energy, oil, and gas sectors.3. Proven experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment, including valves and piping.4. Proficiency in the use of CAD tools and other engineering software.5. Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices.6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.7. Must have CAESAR II experience8. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.10. A valid professional engineering (PE) license.11.
