We are seeking an internal recruiter to join our hospitality group! DETAILS Job Overview Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Manager will source, interview, and place individuals between our six currently operational venues and forthcoming concepts based on the changing needs of the business. The Talent Acquisition Manager will focus on maintaining staffing levels of hourly service employees, both front and back of house, and support management teams with their hiring needs. This position will be onsite, based out of our Manhattan office with travel to different venues in the city as needed. The perfect candidate will be: A collaborative and highly communicative individual who naturally possesses open-minded curiosity Able to manage competing priorities with tasks coming from various sources based on the directives from senior leadership and business goals Incredibly organized, detail oriented, and able to adjust quickly to changes Hospitable, an efficient worker, able to maintain composure under pressure, and comfortable working both independently and in a team An experienced interviewer with significant hiring experience Proficient with technology Multilingual a plus! Spanish and French are particularly helpful Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sourcing, qualifying, and interviewing candidates Maintaining proprietary applicant tracking system with accurate and up to date information, and auditing frequently Leveraging recruiting resources to create and maintain candidate engagement Screening applications and selecting candidates to interview, reviewing resumes and applications to assess qualifications and alignment with job requirements for various roles Interviewing consistently to maintain an active talent pool at all levels of the business (hourly front of house, hourly back of house, venue management, kitchen management, and administrative roles) Coordinating final interviews with hiring managers as appropriate Providing written and verbal follow up communication quickly to internal teams and candidates Collaborating with HR and Leadership to maintain accurate job descriptions, assessment questions, and interview questions Matching individuals from an internal talent pool to openings within our organization Partnering with venue and department managers to identify desirable skills, experience, and traits for their teams Coordinating the hiring process from application receipt to the offer stages Assisting with transfers as needed to increase retention and promote employee development Following recruitment best practices as defined by law and business protocols, and providing recommendations to senior leadership Minimum Qualifications Tier 1 - Up to $120,000 Minimum of 4 years of successful documented experience in a recruiting role Significant experience reviewing resumés, conducting interviews, and building strong teams Experience with various ATS and HRIS softwares Familiarity with restaurant talent needs for both front of house and back of house roles Confident in implementing initiatives as developed in collaboration with senior leadership; self-motivated Proven track record of completing tasks in a timely manner while maintaining expert organization Robust knowledge of both back of house and front of house needs, roles, and responsibilities Demonstrated expertise in fully staffing restaurants with both FOH and BOH employees Proven track record of liaising with applicants from initial submission through offer acceptance Detailed knowledge of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements Strong technology systems experience and willingness to learn new platforms quickly Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of recruitment best practices and venue management relation best practices Commitment to working a minimum of 50 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to the operational needs of the business Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficiency in Spanish (French or other a plus) Tier 2 - $90,000 to $105,000 2-3 years of successful documented experience in an recruiting role Significant experience reviewing resumés and conducting interviews Experience with various ATS and HRIS softwares Familiarity with restaurant talent needs for both front of house and back of house roles Proven track record of completing tasks in a timely manner while maintaining organization in comparable role or other administrative position Complete understanding of recruitment cycle and ability to deliver results as directed by senior leadership Comprehensive knowledge of back of house and front of house roles and responsibilities Demonstrated expertise in staffing for high volume restaurants Proven track record of liaising with applicants from initial submission through offer acceptance In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements Strong technology systems experience and willingness to learn new platforms quickly Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of best practices in employee relations between manager and employee, and recruiter and employee Commitment to working a minimum of 50 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to the operational needs of the business Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficiency in Spanish Tier 3 - $75,000 - $90,000 At least 1 year of successful experience in a comparable role Experience reviewing resumés and conducting interviews Experience with various ATS and HRIS softwares Familiarity with restaurant talent needs for both front of house and back of house roles Proven track record of completing tasks in a timely manner and maintaining organization in comparable role or other administrative position Proven track record of liaising with applicants from initial submission through offer acceptance Understanding of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements Strong technology systems experience and willingness to learn new platforms quickly Knowledge and understanding of hospitality roles and responsibilities Commitment to working a minimum of 50 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to the operational needs of the business Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills Spanish proficiency a plus Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
