Inventory Management Specialist (Junior)

RMC is hiring for a Junior Inventory Management Specialist to support our customer onsite at NSWC Indian Head, MD. The selected candidate will be expected to: * Perform a wide range of substantive clerical/technical support work. * Perform inventory accounting and control records entry and review, demand processing, requisition and re-supply, receipt and release of property, shipments, and management information recoverability. * Perform periodic inventories of plant property, materials, and equipment. * Gather information to support inventory records, discrepancies, and assist with corrective actions. * Process disposal documentation as required, and post status record changes to maintain control of equipment dispositions. * Process material receipts; enter data in the inventory control system; enter receiving and shipping documentation; and notify management of discrepancies with maximum supervision. * Follow technical written procedures issued by the Federal Government for requisitioning, receiving, and storing supplies, repair parts, and equipment.
