The Role You'll Play As a Senior Account Executive at CB Insights, you'll be at the forefront of closing high-value enterprise deals, guiding qualified prospects toward becoming long-term partners. This role reports to a Manager of Sales and is based in New York City. We do meet in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What You'll Do * Own the full sales cycle-from initial outreach to close-for mid-market and enterprise accounts. * Run highly effective product demonstrations and strategic sales conversations with decision-makers. * Partner with SDRs and Account Managers to maximize pipeline opportunities and drive expansion deals. * Leverage data-driven sales tactics to consistently exceed quota and contribute to team revenue goals. * Forecast revenue accurately and maintain detailed pipeline tracking in . * Work closely with product and marketing teams to continuously refine our sales approach. What You Bring to the Table * 5+ years of experience selling SaaS or complex technology solutions with a proven ability to close deals. * A track record of exceeding $1M+ annual quotas in a high-growth environment. * Strong ability to sell to VP and C-level executives in large organizations. * Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. * Deep understanding of venture capital, private markets, and emerging technology trends (preferred). * Experience using Salesforce, sales intelligence tools, and outbound prospecting strategies. Please note this is a US-based role. In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible for commission. A little bit about our pay practices: Typically, we will hire at our Hiring Target, but actual starting pay may be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation, candidate experience, and budgetary constraints.
