This Sr. Data Scientist will play a foundational role in building our new AI team from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our AI and Machine Learning capabilities, leading innovative projects that transform data into actionable insights and strategic business outcomes. You will design, develop, and implement both predictive and Generative AI models, working closely with stakeholders to support goals in areas like sales, marketing, operations, and customer experience. HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 1 day per week, and 4 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County). Responsibilities AI & Generative AI Solutions: Lead the development and deployment of AI and Generative AI models to address core business challenges. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement use cases, including automation, personalization, and content generation, that can enhance customer experience and drive operational efficiencies. Machine Learning Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models, leveraging supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques to solve complex problems across the organization. Continuously optimize models to ensure they perform at scale. Insight Generation & Business Impact: Perform in-depth analyses on complex datasets, uncovering trends, opportunities, and actionable insights. Translate findings into clear, data-driven recommendations that drive business impact. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, translating their challenges into AI and Machine Learning initiatives. Communicate model insights and benefits clearly to cross-functional teams, building awareness of AI capabilities and supporting the adoption of data-driven strategies. Data Strategy & Ethical AI Governance: Contribute to developing our data strategy, data governance practices, and ethical AI framework, ensuring responsible, secure, and fair use of AI. Implement practices to monitor, address, and mitigate potential biases in models. Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay current with AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI advancements, exploring emerging technologies to enhance our capabilities. Champion a culture of continuous learning, introducing best practices and new tools that benefit the team and organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Master's or PhD preferred. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AI, Machine Learning, and data science. Ideally within a mid-sized B2B e-commerce or related industry environment. Experience developing and deploying AI and Generative AI models are highly valued. Proficiency in Python with extensive experience in developing, deploying and scaling machine learning models. Expertise in statistical modeling, data mining, and advanced techniques including NLP, computer vision, or deep learning. Hands-on experience with AWS. Solid understanding of both Machine Learning and Generative AI methods, with a track record of applying these techniques to solve business problems. Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation, MLOps and data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight) is a plus.
