Seasonal Labor Worker - Division of Transportation

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Seasonal Labor Worker within the DuPage County Division of Transportation.  Multiple positions available! DuPage County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is eligible for Paid Leave hours at a proportional rate based on the number of hours regularly scheduled to work. Responsibilities include: * Landscape maintenance (mowing, weed whacking) * Tree trimming, brush chipping * Shoveling * Raking * Sweeping * Using power tools * Traffic control * Work zone set up * Other manual labor duties as assigned * Working near and in proximity to equipment and traffic No minimum educational requirements.  We are willing to train. A pre-employment background check is required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
