Architect scalable and high availability secure file transfer infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. Provide technical leadership in the deployment, configuration, and optimization of SFG and supporting middleware. Ensure security compliance and governance standards for file transfer solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure performance and integration issues related to SFG. Work with cross-functional teams including network security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure seamless integration. Develop and document best practices, architecture patterns, and operational procedures. Lead migration and upgrade projects for IBM SFG and related technologies. Required Skills Experience: 8 years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Middleware, or Integration Technologies. Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling File Gateway SFG and B2B Integrator SI. Strong understanding of MFT (Managed File Transfer) solutions, protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, etc.), and encryption standards. Experience with high availability, scalability, and performance tuning for SFG environments. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, scripting (Shell, Python), and automation tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure architectures. Experience in networking, security controls, certificates, and authentication mechanisms. Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and troubleshooting methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: IBM Sterling certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Administrator Sterling B2B Integrator/SFG). Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Hands-on experience in API integration, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures. Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
