This role involves spearheading the financing of large-scale renewable energy projects, playing a pivotal role in the company's growth and impact. Key Responsibilities: Lead corporate and project finance transactions, including equity, debt, and tax equity , securing capital from government and strategic sources. Act as the internal project manager, aligning stakeholders, managing budgets, and ensuring projects stay on track. Develop and execute tax credit monetization strategies while addressing working capital needs for industrial decarbonization initiatives. Oversee all aspects of transaction execution, including marketing, term sheet negotiations, financial modeling, and investor due diligence . Build and maintain strong relationships with debt, equity, and tax equity investors . Independently develop complex financial models and guide the team in utilizing them effectively. Work closely with leadership to devise innovative financing strategies and create marketing materials for capital raising. Report directly to the Managing Director, C-suite executives, and the Board of Directors . Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in project or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in solar or storage projects . Expertise in managing relationships with project sponsors, buyers, IPPs, tax equity investors, and lenders . Strong understanding of project finance for solar PV plants and BESS , with the ability to evaluate risks and develop financing solutions. Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling to assess project economics and PPA bids. Experience working with project developers and navigating RFP processes . Proven track record in sourcing investors, managing due diligence, and closing complex transactions . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leadership across diverse cultures. Willingness to travel as needed.
