Hedge Fund Operations Senior Analyst

Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr Responsibilities Lead the daily validation and reconciliation of Profit and Loss (PNL) reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness across internal systems, fund administrators, and prime brokers. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in PNL data, including variances across multiple data sources and external statements. Partner with internal teams to validate trading activity, pricing information, and other critical data points. Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, including Fund Admin, Prime Broker, and internal systems. Perform detailed reconciliations across trades, positions, cash balances, dividends, interest, and other financial metrics to ensure alignment with prime brokers, administrators, and internal systems. Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies while strengthening existing reconciliation tools and processes. Collaborate with the fund administrator to review and resolve outstanding issues promptly. Serve as the primary liaison between the firm and the fund administrator, managing all back-office operations. Facilitate effective collaboration to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of fund accounting and reporting. Reporting Develop, generate, and distribute detailed reports on P&L, reconciliations, and other metrics to senior management and stakeholders. Drive enhancements to reporting processes, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. Process Improvement Evaluate and refine back-office operational workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk management. Propose and implement automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve data accuracy.
