Location: This position will ideally be based in Seattle, Denver, Mountain View, San Francisco, or NYC. We have a hybrid work model. About the Role Databricks is seeking a Contracts Negotiator to support its sales teams across multiple verticals. Reporting to the Director, Assistant General Counsel, you will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of customer agreements, including Master Services Agreements, NDAs, order forms, and SOWs. This role requires a strong understanding of contract negotiation and risk management techniques. What You'll Do Negotiate and draft MSAs, NDAs, order forms, SOWs, and other customer contracts to support Databricks' sales verticals. Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, compliance, product, security) to structure deals and resolve contract-related issues. Ensure compliance with key legal and regulatory frameworks, including data privacy, security, and industry-specific requirements. Improve contract management processes, assisting with template enhancements and best practices to support scalability. Advise on legal and business risks, becoming a trusted resource for sales and other cross-functional teams. Who You Are Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent. 3+ years of contract negotiation experience, preferably in SaaS, software licensing, or technology transactions. Experience supporting HLS, public sector, or financial services customers is a plus. Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation strategies. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Process-oriented mindset with experience improving contracting workflows in a fast-paced environment. Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
