Job Title: Production SupervisorLocation: Beaumont, CASalary Range: $77,401 - $96,751Shifts Available: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMJob Summary / MissionThe Production Supervisor is responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating production activities to maintain high productivity levels. This includes delegating responsibilities, setting priorities, meeting lead times, and aligning the production department with the company's strategic goals. The role ensures that products and services meet both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. The supervisor also oversees quality standards, monitors performance, provides reports, and ensures continuous improvement across production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management & Optimization Plan, organize, and direct manufacturing and maintenance operations to maximize asset efficiency. Oversee production processes and develop schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective output. Monitor and optimize material and labor resources, including overtime management. Ensure effective management of production lines to meet operational goals. Improve resource utilization through an optimized production organization. Implement production strategies and action plans to support company growth. Identify production needs, including investments, labor, and technology, to meet business objectives.Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure production meets quality standards and regulatory compliance. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production. Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs to exceed customer expectations. Promote a culture of quality achievement and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation. Define and enforce quality procedures alongside operating staff. Maintain schedule and calibration of quality measurement instruments. Supervise quality technicians in conducting tests and checks.Safety & Continuous Improvement Implement and evolve safety procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines. Address physical safety issues and improve employee safety awareness. Continuously improve safety records through proactive measures and training. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality production. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using best practices and change management processes.Leadership & Team Management Supervise and motivate a team of workers to achieve operational goals. Set individual and group accountabilities for problem-solving and cost reduction. Monitor team performance, provide leadership, and implement necessary training. Work with department managers to implement company policies and achieve business objectives. Encourage the use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem-solving. Conduct performance reviews and track competencies of subordinates to ensure professional development.Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with suppliers, managers, and various departments to streamline operations. Establish a reliable base of suppliers for services and production materials. Develop and implement business plans in collaboration with leadership teams. Coordinate production layout and workflow design to maximize efficiency.Other Duties Ensure regular and predictable attendance as an essential function of the job. Perform additional duties as assigned.Job RequirementsExperience & Education Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in a similar role preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
